O Lord,
you have taught us
that all our doings without love are worth nothing:
send your Holy Spirit,
and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of love,
the true bond of peace and of all virtues,
without which whoever lives is counted dead before you;
grant this for your only Son Jesus Christ's sake. Amen

New Vicar for St Peter's
The locum tenens, Bishop Graeme Rutherford, announced on Sunday 4 December that a new vicar has been appointed to St Peter's. Dr Hugh Kempster will be inducted into the parish in April next year, shortly after Easter.
