Prayer of the week
O God, the King of glory,
you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ
with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven:
we pray you, leave us not comfortless,
but send your Holy Spirit to strengthen us,
and exalt us to the same place where our Saviour Christ
has gone before;
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen

A new initiative has been started on the St Peter's website. Each week the vicar, Fr Hugh Kemster, has a section of Vicar's Musings in the pew sheet. Since he wants to use these musings from time to time to communicate new parish initiatives, Fr Hugh has requested that an archive of this section of the pew sheet be made available more widely. Each week, therefore, the Vicar's Musings will be placed in an archive on the website. This is accessed from the menu on the left of this page, or by clicking here.
A range of new books for the Autumn has been added to the Bookroom pages.
